We’re in
Well, the day has come and gone and we are starting to get settled. I have a few pictures of our home in boxes, but they’ll have to wait for posting since my mind is a bit scrambled right now.
I have an Apollo concert tonight and since I am still technically President until June 30, it compels me to attend. It sure would be nice if I could just go home, unpack some more and relax, but I guess it can wait another day. Gretchen is in Chicago for a few days anyway, so it doesn’t matter too much.
The cats are starting to get acclimated, even though they have been banished to the basement for a little while. We want to make sure they feel comfortable with where their litter and food are. Chloe sure didn’t like it at first, but she’s beginning to warm up. Besides, the basement is full of boxes and things that they can sit on and hide in.
Off to sing and more once it starts to look lived in a bit.
No, this isn’t so hard – in fact, it’s a buncha fun! We’ll see you Friday & don’t worry about the boxes. Maybe we’ll bring you some more (just kidding – maybe just one.)
OK, it’s been a month now. I keep looking for new pictures – house or baby – nothing yet. Well, OK, I’ll give you some slack. After all, it’s summer and there are better things to do.
