Boergers down under
Hi all, we made it! Just checked into the apartment in Wellington. We have plans to go and stay at a winery north of here for the weekend and explore the Wairarapa valley (say that 10 times fast!!). It should be beautiful and the weather is pretty good so far, so we’ll take pictures and post them as soon as we can.

Hi everyone. I’m home from Kiwi land. Thanks for the Anniversary wishes. I am sure we will be filling you in soon on what we did in celebration of our 4th Anniversary.
I wanted to let you all know that we had high hopes of updating the site everyday while I was vacationing, but with all of the pictures we took, the bad internet connection in Wayne’s apartment, and both of us being exhausted at the end of each and everyday, we just didn’t get it done. Maybe, since I am not in New Zealand now Wayne won’t have someone to distract him and we will start seeing some postings.
We had a wonderful time, and it was a lovely last vacation just the two of us before the baby comes. I know Wayne is anxious to get home and spend more time with us here, so it was hard to say good-bye to him yesterday. Wayne has all of the photos on his laptop…I have none. As soon as he comes home, we will be printing a lot of the pictures for a scrapbook. I am looking forward to putting that together. As for now, we will just have to see what Boerger Times has to offer us in that area.

I thought I might be lambasted a bit more about the lack of postings, so it was a nice surprise to see you are all patiently waiting.
I will start posting as soon as possible, but we have a big deadline on Friday, so I’m not sure when. Gretchen is right that I have all the pictures (and there are ALOT). Unfortunately, I had to move to a different apartment AGAIN and there is no internet connection there, so that doesn’t help matters since I have to do the personal stuff at night.
Regardless, don’t feel sorry for me. It’s been pretty nice here and Gretchen and I had some great experiences together. More soon..
We are so glad you had a wonderful time together. We didn’t expect updates on your site because you were supposed to be too busy doing things together! We’re glad Gretchen and baby are home safe and sound and we look forward to having Wayne back in the states soon. We love you.

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted you to know that today I had another ultrasound. Baby Boerger is doing very well. I got to see him/her drinking the amniotic fluid. It was quite cool! They did measurements, and found that at just 29 weeks, the baby’s body is measuring around 30-31 weeks, and the head is measuring around 33 weeks. They said it has a big head…must mean it’s going to be smart like it’s dad!! The baby weighs about 3lbs 9 oz as of this morning. As of this evening it feels like it has grown during the day and now weighs about 10 lbs 11oz. Just so you know, Grandparents, you may want to check your e-mail if you have not already. I sent over two nice photos of the cute little profile to you. I am sure Wayne will be posting those on the website shortly, but just incase it takes a while to get that posted, I thought you needed some instant gradification. As for the rest of you, I guess you will have to wait or bug Wayne.
I am excited to see a lot of you in the next few weeks at the baby shower on either the first Saturday in Nov, or the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
