Gretchen and I spent Christmas Eve and Day with the Luckow family. Due to the impending arrival of Baby Boerger, we’re not traveling and they were kind enough to invite us over. We had a fabulous time and thank them wholeheartedly. Here are a few pics from the weekend.

For the last several Christmases, Gretchen and I have given toys to an organization that our church works with to send toys to impoverished children around the world. Due to my travel schedule and some other commitments, we missed the opportunity to do that this year.
However, I stumbled across a website that did something [...]
As you’ve probably noticed, I’ve been working on a few things. There are new category page links on the left, so you can see all of our posts that way. In addition, there are new links on the right for all of our posts by date.

We haven’t seen much of family lately, so we thought we’d take a couple pictures of the baby and post them. Baby Boerger is very active for a not-quite newborn and Gretchen is already losing sleep. We also took a few of the new nursery. Dad has been busy getting that ready [...]
Blackfive is another military blogger that I love to read since he has a far better perspective on what we are doing in Iraq than most. Today he passes along a fantastic letter from a Marine about what they are doing for the children in Iraq and what has been done for the Marines [...]
People in general don’t like being marketed to. Everyone likes a good deal and hearing about a good deal, but I can’t stand it when I feel someone is trying to lay on some psychic persuasion to get me to try something. Unless it’s cheesecake.
There was a time when you could watch a [...]
