Twas the night before baby

It’s rare in your life to know that the following day will change it forever. You can count those days on one hand probably: Graduations, Wedding day, Birth of a child, especially the first. We’ve handled the first few pretty well and are very anxious to start this new stage in our lives. Knowing that 24 hours from now we will be different people is a bit strange.

It’s been a fascinating 9 months and Baby Boerger is scheduled to arrive right on time. It figures that the weather has gotten yucky. We are to be at the hospital early on Sunday and we hope the drive is fine. As a dad-to-be, I was certainly looking forward to the rare opportunity to drive like a madman to the hospital. It looks like we’ll have to have more kids since that won’t be happening tomorrow!

We’ll have more here just as soon as we can. Pray for us that everything goes well and Baby Boerger looks forward to meeting all of you.
