Checkup
No pictures this time, but I wanted to pass along that Quinn is doing great. He had his two week checkup on Monday and everything is fine. He’s back over his birth weight and is now 8 pounds 12 ounces. He’s a healthy eater and is awake and alert for a good while every day.
The visitors have slowed, but Quinn is still meeting new friends on a regular basis. Today, Kristi Thompson was over as well as our neighbors across the street Sean and Amy Morrill. They have a son Leo who is about 2 months and we know he and Quinn will be good buds. One of our other neighbors, Scott and Michelle Totten, came over a few nights ago and Tim made another trip on Sunday. Tomorrow, Uncle Ed and Aunt Ruth are coming to help Gretchen get some more rest. She’s been fighting a cold and is hopefully past the worst of it.
I’m organizing a few more pictures and hope to have those up in the next day or so. I also hope you like the little animation on the right. I had a couple pictures that I thought would go great together and I like how it turned out.
Thanks for the update – we know he will be growing and changing so fast. Wish we were closer to see those changes in person and to lend a hand but this is a pretty good substitute to keep up with his growth. Nothing beats being able to hold him though so we’ll be back as soon as we get a chance. We just want to say “thanks” also to “Grandpa” Ed and “Grandma” Ruth for all that they do. God bless you all.

Thanks for the updates; maybe they will keep Grandma Ardy from calling everyday. I just miss him so much. I love the animation! Im glad Ed and Ruth can come today to help Gretchen and to hold Quinn. Its so nice that he has so many grandparents. I couldnt come anyway; I’m fighting a cold too. I’m making chicken soup with homemade noodles. You know what they say about chicken soup; It can’t hurt.
