4 weeks

We’ve been a busy little family in the last week and thus I’ve neglected the website. But no longer!!

Gretchen took a few pictures on his lamb blanket that turned out quite nice.

We continued to have some visitors, including Pallos, Kristi Thompson, and cousin Jill. Also, our neighbors from across the street, Sean and Amy Morrill, brought over a meal and their 2 month old son, Leo. Leo was born early, so they aren’t that much different in size.

Although Quinn isn’t yet sleeping in his crib at night, he did take his first real nap there this week. I think he likes it. I know Mom and Dad did.

Quinn also enjoys his bouncy seat and all his new clothes (at least for the little while he fits into them). Here he’s modeling the latest in “farm” baby style. He also went to his first real outing, a Wooddale Worship Team party. As expected, he was the hit of the party. You can see his nametag. Also, he has gotten a bit of baby acne and we hope it’ll go away soon. He’s no less cute though!

In cat action, Bijou continues to take advantage of Chloe’s good nature by sitting on her. Notice the foot to the face in the first one. Since Quinn has been home though, we’ve gotten the water spray bottle back out to keep them away from baby stuff, so it’s training time.

Finally, I want to implore everyone to say an extra prayer for Nathan and all of our soldiers in Iraq. It’s clearly about to be messy and dangerous there for the next week or so and they need and deserve our support.

I can’t believe there are no comments yet!! We just got back from Vegas and had to check for new pictures of Quinn. Looks like he is doing well and starting to “hit the social scene.” He looks so cute in his crib – I’m sure he will love all that rolling around room! We’re hoping to get a weekend to come see him and his mom and dad soon.

We will definitely keep Nathan and all our military in our prayers with extra prayers for awhile until things settle down a bit.

I can’t believe Marge beats me to the comments every time; one of these days. Quinn is sure changing and growing fast. He’s so cute. I love those pictures of him on the lamb blanket. Rog would see them too except he’s out ice fishing with Bunge. He never brings home any ice though, or fish either. Its been a trying few days here; checking CNN frequently and lots of praying. Just read Nathan’s latest email. Good so far. Pray for peace, Love Gr. Ardy
