Connections

Well, I finally have an apartment that offers a real DSL connection. I’ve spent the last few days trying to get my first apartment complex to live up to their advertised promise of “ADSL internet”. To me, ADSL means “a port in your room that puts you right onto a network and has a reasonably fast connection speed.” Apparently, to the Windsor Apartments here in Adelaide, ADSL means “an extra phone jack that you can plug your computer into and dial your own ISP (which you of course pay for on your own).”

Well, the Windsor was unacceptable due to that, so I am now in the Franklin Central Apartments. It’s actually closer to my office and the price is pretty much the same. I’m off to pack my things at the Windsor and I’ll have more later.

    Hey, Wayne,
Just never know what all those letters actually mean, do we? Everyone has their own interpretation. Glad to hear you found a more suitable location. Hope all is going well – good to hear from you.
    Love, Mom

When are we going to see more pictures? I realize that the digital camera does not work. But aren’t there a lot of pictures of Quinn that you have that we can get on our website? Hee hee.

    Love you Wayne!!
