Holy Cow!!

I love it when things like this happen. I’m sitting at home doing nothing in particular when the phone rings. I don’t recognize the number and usually when that’s the case, I don’t bother to answer. However, for some reason this time I did and I’m sure glad of it.

It was my great friend Christy Raukar calling from San Diego!! We haven’t talked in far too long and so I’m thrilled that she tracked me down. And the big news is that she is getting married, so I’m doubly thrilled. We talked for almost an hour catching up on our lives and I think just being glad to talk to one another.

The wedding on May 13, so it’s on the calendar and we’ll certainly do everything we can to attend.

More later as I’m supposed to find out something (again) this week about the Australia stuff. As it is, it’ll be tough to get things arranged before then anyway, but we’ll just have to see. As I find out anything, I’ll be sure to let everyone know.
