Staying in Wellington for one more month

Yes, we are staying here for another month. I guess Wayne is doing such a great job at work that they don’t want to lose him. He will stay on and continue on his project at ACC until the end of March, then we should be moving to another city. But I guess, at this point who knows. Quinn and I are pretty happy about staying, as we have friends here that we really love and we would hate to say good-bye so soon.

We are still moving on Sunday, but to a house instead of an apartment. It is in one of the suburbs of Wellington, so Wayne will either have to train into work, or we will drop him off and pick him up. We are very excited to have some peace and quiet during the day. Quinn will probably miss the construction outside the window at the apartment. And I bet some of the construction workers will miss him too. He likes to wave at the workers especially the crane operators as they climb 10 stories up to their crane cab. We will also miss being able to take daily walks to the harbour, parks, Botanic Garden and weekly walks to the City Library! (We love the Wellington Library!)

So, all of you who got an e-mail from me last week saying that we were going to Canberra, just disregard that! As you know the plans change, but now we know for sure we will be in Wellington for one more month…or more?
