Quinn speak

Quinn has come a long way with his vocabulary and I think most of you will be surprised how talkative he is. We had a funny thing happen today and I thought I should share.

We were out doing some shopping this afternoon and in one store, Quinn was telling the cashier “I’m two”. I thought I would suggest to Quinn that he can now say that he is “two and a half”. Quinn’s attempt to repeat this came out as “toot in the baff” or “toot in the bath”. Needless to say, that got Gretchen and I laughing. And of course, Quinn realized he had said something funny, so he was saying “toot in the baff” all the way home, giggling to himself. We’ll try to get it on our little recorder, though even if we don’t, it won’t take much to coax it out of him when we get home.
