First online article published!

This week sends us some exciting news. An article written by me and Billy Cripe was published in an online trade magazine. Part of my (relatively) new position is to do outreach efforts like this in an effort to position our products in the market. The article itself probably won’t mean anything to those of you who read this site (Hamish maybe?), but it’s kind of a cool milestone nonetheless. If you’re interested, you’ll find it here on the website for “Computer Technology Review”.  It’s about strategies for enterprise-wide corporate archiving of data and other content/documents.

On the personal front, for those that didn’t know, Roger and Nathan had to make an unexpected visit earlier this week as Roger needed surgery for a detached retina.  As of today, everything has gone well, he’s back home, and a full recovery is expected, though it’s put Roger out of action for a while.  He basically has to look down at his toes for a few days, sleep only on his right side, and can’t drive for a couple weeks probably.  So prayers are in order, both for the diagnosis and treatment success to date and for his current and future healing.
