Shopping with Quinn is always an adventure!

I thought I would write a cute little story about my shopping experience with Quinn while shopping for Christmas presents with him last week. We were in Old Navy going through the check out line and when we got to the cashier, Quinn asked why she was working in isle 4 and why there was a green light above the #4. She said that she needed to work there because that was where people wanted her to work. Then Quinn said to her, “but I think you should be working in isle #2 and turn that green light on.” The lady kindly said, “well, I wish I could.” Quinn then responded, “well maybe after you take a nap you can…ok?” She just laughed. Not even a second later while Quinn was playing with some small basketballs he asks the clerk,”do you want to play catch with me?” She said…”Hmm sure!!” So, as I was swiping my credit card and signing, Quinn and the cashier were playing catch and having a marvelous time. When I was all finished, the cashier said thank you and Merry Christmas. While all of this was taking place, the line behind us had gotten quite long. Quinn turned around as we were leaving and said, “Merry Christmas everyone!!!”. Then he looked up at me and said, “Merry Christmas Mom!…This sure is a fun store!”. I am guessing that he made quite a few people smile that day. He sure made me smile and my heart melt.
